Small Red Plum

Small red plums live up to their name, as they have a sweet-tart flavour with a hint of bitterness from the reddish outer skin. The skin of these delicious plums is dark violet, and the waxy covering gives them a smoky appearance. Biting into these wonderful stone fruits reveals a rich crimson, beet coloured flesh that covers the large pit in the centre.

STORAGE

Fully ripe plums can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
