Nam Shui Li Pear

Nan Shui Li has a smooth, pale yellow skin with brown speckles and apple-shaped appearance that is firm, crunchy and juicy. Therefore, they are excellent for desserts and snacks. When cooked with rock sugar, these pears become transparent and soft. Their melt-in-the-mouth texture and strong aroma, which is enhanced by the natural sweetness of the fruit.

STORAGE

Fresh pears can be stored in the fridge or in a perforated plastic bag or paper bag in the vegetable compartment of your fridge. Fully ripe pears will keep fresh in the refrigerator for three to five days.

Not sure if your pear is ripe? Apply gentle pressure to the neck of the pear with your thumb to see if it is ripe. The pear is ripe and ready to eat when the stem end of the fruit gives slightly.
