STORAGE

When the fruit is ripe and the colour changes from green to bright yellow, it is ready to eat or store in the refrigerator for a few days.

Because this variety of Le Lectier pear is difficult to grow among the many pears, the amount produced is limited. As a result, while eating the fruit on its own is a luxurious experience and is commonly served on top of a freshly baked tart or parfait in Japan.
