White Nectarines

White-fleshed nectarines are a variety of peach in which the pith does not adhere to the flesh. They differ from the peach in having a smooth and shiny skin with an orange tinge that fades to red. Their flesh can also be yellow. The white flesh has a distinctive, slightly acidic and sweet, delicate flavour and can be eaten fresh, as juice or canned.

STORAGE

Keep nectarines in the fridge when they are ripe and ready to eat, or in a cool, dry place so they can continue to ripen gently. Your nectarines and peaches ripen best at room temperature, away from sunlight.
