If you plan to enjoy Hikawa Hakuho white peaches within a few days, it is recommended to refrigerate them. However, if you intend to consume them on the same day, store them at room temperature.
Do note that refrigeration can diminish their natural sweetness. Instead, chill the fruit for 30 minutes to an hour before consuming to achieve a refreshing coolness. Once adequately chilled, gently wash the peach with water and delicately peel the skin, aiming for a thin peel to retain the savoury layer just beneath.
As the sweetness is concentrated near the pit, relish the peach by slicing it vertically and indulging in its deliciousness. Peaches are delicate fruits, so it's crucial to store them at room temperature in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid putting pressure or handling them vigorously, as this can cause damage.
