These cherries have a hint of sweetness, fruitiness and a touch of acidity. Their flesh is plump, juicy and firm, and the colour ranges from a deep red to a rich mahogany when ripe. STORAGE

Cherries should not be washed before storing since moisture accelerates the rotting process. To keep them fresh longer, place them in the refrigerator immediately after purchase. At cooler temperatures, they will last for about two to three weeks.
