Golden pears can be stored at room temperature for up to a week and in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Chinese Golden Pears are native to eastern and southeastern China, where pears have been cultivated for over 3000 years. They are mainly grown in the eastern Chinese provinces of Hebei and Shandong and in the southwestern Chinese province of Jiangxi and exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, Indonesia and Australia.
