Description
xMelts' muskmelon seeds are imported from Japan and germinated in a nursery for 10 days before being brought to the greenhouse and hand pollinated for another 40 days. Only one fruit ripens on each tree, so the flesh that are extremely juicy with sweet, melting softness are produced with optimum care and nutrition. They are individually examined after harvesting for a minimum sweetness of 15%, with thick, net-like patterns on the surface indicating excellent quality at a lower cost.
STORAGE
To determine if your Melts muskmelons are ready to eat, feel the bottom of the melon. It should be soft when you press it gently Then they should be keep chilled at all times To keep the melon from drying out, store it in a sealable container in the refrigerator after you have sliced or chopped it.
FUN FACTS & TIPS
A good melts muskmelon should have a certain weight for its size and be free from blemishes, brown spots and other defects. In addition, the outer colour should be uniform greenish to yellow. However, the easiest way to determine if it is sweet is to cut open and divide the whole fruit.
