Starfruit is a fascinating little fruit that resembles a star when cut open. The waxy skin is tender and full of juice when ripe, but it has a sharp bite, similar to grapes. It tastes like a combination of grapefruits, oranges, apples and plums. But also offers a sharp but pleasant acidity reminiscent of pineapple, and a slightly floral aroma.

STORAGE

When you received unripe starfruit, you can easily ripen it at home. Unripe starfruit must be turned over occasionally when stored at room temperature so that all sides ripen evenly.
