If you encounter any berry bearing a white substance around the stem, soak them in a bowl of vinegar water. Use a vinegar-to-water ratio of 1:3 for the best results. After the soak, rinse the berries with cold water to remove any vinegar taste. Then gently pat them dry with paper towels.
