xNature has gifted us with these scrumptious phoenix mandarins, medium-sized juice bombs with a thick glossy peel and loose skin. They usually have seeds and flesh that is orange-like in texture but tastes sweeter and stronger than a standard orange.
STORAGE
If you do not plan to consume all of your tangerines within three to four days, they must be refrigerated. They may be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
FUN FACTS & TIPS
It is said that these oranges originated in India and reached China, where they were given the name "mandarin". They travelled to England and then to Italy, finally arriving in the Moroccan city of Tangier, where they were nicknamed "tangerine".
